Ah, the internet. Simplicity, convenience and access to a world of goods and services at your fingertips… with one small setback – one we all suffer from: Password anxiety.

You know the scenario – because you probably do the same thing a lot of us do – you use the same password you use for everything else, or, you use something too simple that can be easily guessed or, worse, you write them down and risk someone finding your list.

You know the drill: You go to your banks website to create an online account. You fill in all the basic information – the easy stuff, right? Then you come to the part where you have to create a password. Whoa, not so easy! Why? Because your financial integrity is at stake here and this password needs to be strong, complex and resilient to brute force attack. So heres your paradox...

How do you create something so strong, complex and perplexing that is going to be easy for you to remember?

The answer: Assimilator.

Assimilator takes the complex out of complex passwords by making them easy to create and easy to remember. How? By allowing you to use simple, easy words or phrases (called simple passwords) that Assimilator then converts to more complex passwords. The name of your bank or your credit card company for example is very easy to remember, wouldn’t you agree. Of course at face value they make terrible choices for a password. But, what if you bank with Wells Fargo Bank, and it could be used as a simple password and converted into something like this:

G|o1*8WE8Kr&N o[VZox}

Wouldn’t you agree that this is a much more secure login password? The really nice part is that you don’t have to memorize, G|o1*8WE8Kr&N o[VZox}, you only have to remember, Wells Fargo Bank.

Assimilator performs this complex conversion via a proprietary encryption process that combines (or assimilates) all your simple passwords with a unique encryption key (your master password). With this method of password encryption, Assimilator can create and manage all your passwords for you. You can even write down your simple passwords without fear that someone will see them, because without your unique encryption key, they are worthless, as each key/simple password combination produces a single unique encrypted password; one with near endless possibilities.

Assimilator can create passwords as small as (6) characters in length to (21) characters long. It can produce a password using any of the (95) characters accessible on a standard U.S. keyboard* or one that contains only alpha/numeric characters. Assimilator lets you use any combination of letters, numbers, special characters, punctuation marks and the space character (up to 45 characters in length) as a word or phrase for use in your simple passwords and encryption key. And you can even change the results of the encrypted passwords you create without having to change your established key or simple passwords.
